Job summary

Centria Autism in Portland, OR is seeking a Center-Based Spanish Speaking Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children with autism under a BCBA.

You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, teach communication, social, and daily living skills, and participate in training. No experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to empower you to help each child reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Requires passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and team-oriented.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.
• Pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and clinical team.
• Maintain safety and document progress.
