Welocalize, a global localization company, is seeking a native Spanish speaker to join as a Spanish Localization QA Tester / Proofreader. You will review and refine localized content for accuracy, readability, punctuation, and cultural alignment across software and documentation.

You will execute test cases, log and track issues, verify fixes, and, at times, translate content from English into Spanish. The role emphasizes detail, quality assurance for digital products, and a long-term, stable

Qualifications

• Native-level Spanish (Spain) fluency.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.
• Experience with QA/testing in digital products is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Write and report bugs using the internal bug-tracking system.
• Understand and prioritize tasks quickly and efficiently.
• Native Spanish (Spain) language skills and cultural awareness.
• Good oral and written communication.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• QA various products by following testing instructions and test cases.
• Discover and report defects in translations for software, mobile apps, and documentation.
• Be a subject matter expert for linguistic issues in Spanish (from Spain) and research solutions.
• Adhere to project-specific quality standards, style guides, and glossaries.
• Troubleshoot basic problems and escalate testing issues.
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
