Job summary

Blue Origin LLC seeks Test Engineer II, III, or IV to join the Test Operations Maintenance team at Launch Site One in Van Horn, TX. You will sustain hardware, support initial upgrades, and ensure safe, repeatable maintenance for engine and thruster testing.

The role requires creating maintenance plans, diagnosing failures, and coordinating with vendors. It involves hands-on operation and potential travel to other sites as surge needs dictate.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Experience in test, propulsion, or hardware-rich environments.
• Familiarity with high-pressure, cryogenic, hydraulic, pneumatic, data acquisition, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Write maintenance procedures for test facility hardware and components.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support functional testing of valves, filters, and regulators using high-pressure systems.
• Coordinate with vendors for preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Lead training and proctor engineer/technician development as needed.
• Support inventory and best-practice maintenance strategies.
