Job summary

Blue Origin in Van Horn, TX is seeking a Test Engineer to join the Engines division. You will support test planning, data review, hardware integration, and performance analysis of propulsion systems in a culture focused on safety and reliability.

As part of a small, skilled team, you will drive test campaigns, perform risk assessments, and collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and systems engineering to achieve launch vehicle program requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (aerospace, mechanical, or physics).
• Recent graduate; starting by Fall 2026.
• Experience in testing environments and following test procedures.
• Data analysis familiarity and ability to interpret results.
• Ability to lead projects and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and operate test systems for fluid, propulsion, mechanical, and electronic subsystems.
• Analyze test data to verify requirements.
• Direct hardware integration into test facilities.
• Plan tests, assess risks, setup, execute, review data, and analyze performance.
• Develop test support software/equipment to improve frequency and quality.
• Identify and resolve test-related problems.
