Job summary

Blue Origin in Huntsville, AL, seeks a hands-on logistics technician to manage receiving, dock operations, and production support in a hybrid role. You will lead the movement of hardware from truck arrival through receipt, quality handoff, and outbound shipping to suppliers and processors, while also preparing and staging material for the floor.

The position requires practical experience with material prep, rigging, and crane operations, plus ensuring traceability and adherence to safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of combined hands-on experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse, or material handling and technician/production support work in manufacturing.
• Forklift experience and a valid certification or ability to obtain one.
• Proficiency with common hand and power tools and basic measurement instruments.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound trucks and move material using a forklift.
• Package, crate, and ship hardware to suppliers and processing vendors.
• Maintain ERP/MRP records and ensure traceability of materials at receipt and during processing.
