Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II (B-Shift) to join the Operations team responsible for Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across Blue Origin facilities. You will translate engineering intent into functional hardware, identify tooling needs, and provide floor support to ensure safe, reliable flight hardware for New Glenn.

The role emphasizes quality, collaboration, and hands-on build experience.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 2+ years engineering experience (excluding internships).
• GD&T knowledge and manufacturing fundamentals.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
• Internship in aircraft/spacecraft/launch-vehicle structures or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate engineering intent and drawings into hardware ready for test, qualification, and flight.
• Identify tools and equipment for manufacturing flight hardware.
• Provide shipside/lineside support on the manufacturing floor.
• Generate, manage, and close Non-conformance reports (NCR).
• Craft manufacturing plans and tool lists for new products.
• Fri - Sun 6am-6:30pm
