Blue Origin is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer II (B-Shift) to join the Operations group focused on Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, Security, and Mission Assurance. The role supports the New Glenn program, providing manufacturing capability, BOM generation, and shop-floor support to ensure build readiness and flight qualification.

The position requires a BS in engineering, 2+ years of experience, GD&T knowledge, and US work authorization.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 2+ years of engineering experience (not including internships).
• Internship experience in aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicle structures, automotive manufacturing or similar.
• Understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing, including GD&T.
• U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or legally admitted to the U.S.

Aufgaben

• Translate engineering intent and drawings into functional hardware with BOMs and work instructions.
• Identify tools and equipment required for manufacturing flight hardware.
• Provide shipside/lineside support on the manufacturing floor.
• Generate, manage, and close non-conformance reports (NCR).
• Support introduction of new products with build plans, duration estimates, and tool lists.
