Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the New Glenn Stage 2, 4 Engine (GS2-4E) program on Merritt Island. You will lead systems engineering activities, develop CONOPS for pre-launch and flight operations, and manage requirements with stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable vehicle performance.

You will author safety analyses (FHA, ASA, FTA, FMECAs), coordinate with test and launch teams, and contribute to a culture of inclusion and quality in a highly regulated aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace engineering or related technical field.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in Fluids, Thermal, Propulsion, Cryogenics, Pneumatics.
• Experience in at least one: Analysis, Design, Testing, launch operations.
• Hands-on experience in developing, authoring, and implementing integrated tests or operating launch vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Support Vehicle and Ground System Project Leads with systems engineering per Blue Origin standards.
• Build detailed CONOPS for pre-launch and flight operations.
• Author, decompose, analyze, trace, and verify requirements.
• Negotiate interfaces and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and implement verification plans to verify requirements.
• Define operational constraints for safe end-to-end subsystem operation.
• Lead gated reviews for New Glenn program and elements." ,
