Job summary

SEAKR Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician for the 2nd shift to perform precision hand-soldering and mechanical integration of spaceflight hardware.

The role covers PCB assembly, chassis integration, wire harness fabrication, and inspection under a microscope, following IPC standards and engineering drawings. Requires 5+ years in high-precision soldering and a HS diploma.

Qualifications

• Active IPC J-STD-001 Space Addendum solder certifications required or to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in high-precision soldering, electronic box builds, crimping for avionics wiring and mechanical chassis assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts into subassemblies using hand tools and soldering iron.
• Use voltmeters, scales, fixtures, and microscopes for precision work.
• Read and follow detailed work instructions and drawings.
• Inspect finished work for conformance to tolerances and requirements.
• Adhere to 5S, FOD, and ESD policies and lift up to 30 lbs.
