Job summary

SEAKR Engineering is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician for the second shift in Centennial, CO. The role focuses on physical assembly, precision hand-soldering, and mechanical box builds for spaceflight hardware.

You will assemble chassis, wire harnesses, and PCBs per drawings and travelers, with strict adherence to IPC standards and ESD procedures. The position requires 5+ years of relevant experience, IPC solder certifications or the ability to obtain within 30 days, and a HS

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years in high-precision soldering, electronic box builds, crimping for avionics wiring, and mechanical chassis assembly.
• Must read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions.
• Active IPC J-STD-001 (Space Addendum) solder certifications or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts into subassemblies using hand tools and soldering iron.
• Work with voltmeters, scales, fixtures, and various soldering equipment.
• Perform precision hand-soldering under a stereo microscope.
• Follow process engineers and supervisor instructions.
• Inspect products at various stages and ensure compliance with specs.
• Maintain safety, 5S, FOD, and ESD protocols.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals.
