Job summary

SEAKR Engineering in Centennial, CO is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician responsible for the physical integration, and precision hand-soldering of high-reliability spaceflight hardware. The role covers mechanical and electrical assembly, including PCB mounting, harness fabrication, and chassis integration, with strict IPC, 5S, and ESD guidelines.

You will read blueprints, prepare components, solder under a microscope, and assemble complete electronics boxes while ensuring tight

Qualifications

• Active IPC J-STD-001 Space Addendum solder certification or must obtain within 30 days.
• Minimum 5 years in high-precision soldering, electronics box builds, and avionics wiring.
• Proficient with precision mechanical tools and microscope soldering.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts into subassemblies using hand tools and soldering iron.
• Follow process engineers' instructions and inspect to requirements.
• Perform component preparation, wire harness fabrication, and PC board prep.
• Ensure assemblies meet tolerances using precision measurement tools.
• Collaborate with team to achieve production goals.
