Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced structural engineer to design, analyze, and test primary and secondary aerospace structures. You will create 3D models, drawings, and interface control documents while supporting manufacturing and integration activities on the Lunar Transportation program.

Required is a B.S. in engineering with 3+ years in aerospace structures, plus strong Creo and Windchill proficiency. Familiarity with GD&T and materials considerations for cryogenic environments is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with automotive, aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures.
• Experience with metallic and composite structural components.
• Familiar with GD&T analysis (ASME Y14.5).

Responsibilities

• Design, analysis, development, and testing of primary and secondary structures.
• Create 3D models, detail part drawings, and interface control documents.
• Provide manufacturing and production support for hardware.
• Provide technical guidance for integration and trade studies.
• Plan and execute tests, review results and status reports.
• Maintain schedule and budget for structural activities.
