Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Technical Designer to support the design, analysis, development and testing of primary and secondary structures for the New Glenn second stage. You will create 3D models, detail drawings, and interface control documents while coordinating with multi-functional teams to procure, fabricate, test, and fly the hardware.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience with aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures.
• Experience with Creo (Pro/E), CATIA, Windchill and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Knowledge of ASME Y14.100 and Y14.41 practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test primary and secondary metallic and composite structures.
• Create 3D models, detail part drawings, assemblies, installations, and interface documents.
• Support configuration development, run trade studies, develop concepts.
