Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced software engineer to develop and own aerospace simulation testbeds for launch and spacecraft systems. You will craft accurate simulation models and test scripts, collaborate with customers and internal teams to capture requirements, and drive robust verification workflows across hardware/software integration.

You will contribute to release planning, documentation, and overall testbed success, including travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a technical field with relevant aerospace software experience.
• 3+ years in aerospace software simulation testbeds or similar.
• Proficient in C/C++ and scripting with real-time systems exposure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own simulation models and test scripts for the Blue Ring spacecraft testbed.
• Collaborate with customers and engineering teams to capture requirements.
• Design release strategies, document processes, and ensure integration readiness.
• Execute tests on simulations to verify robustness and performance.
• Support hardware/software integration and data anchoring for simulations.
