Job summary

Blue Origin in Washington state seeks an experienced engineer to own development of a groundbreaking software simulation testbed for the In-Space Systems unit. You will design, plan, certify, and implement simulation models and test scripts reflecting real-world scenarios; collaborate with customers and teams to capture requirements and deliver robust integration tests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of proven aerospace software simulation testbed development experience.
  • Proficient in C / C++ development with strong technical prowess.
  • Python or similar scripting languages; strong understanding of SDLC and testing.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to release strategy, coordination, and detailed documentation.
  • Craft sophisticated simulation models and accurate test scripts.
  • Develop customer-specific simulation requirements with internal teams.
  • Develop and execute tests on simulations to ensure robustness.
  • Ensure integration and testing events through detailed test scripts.
  • Support hardware/software integration incl. anchoring simulations to hardware data.
