Job summary

Blue Origin in Huntsville is seeking an engineer to own design elements of automated test equipment for the Blue Ring spacecraft and its payloads. You will develop hardware and software, own fielded test gear, and coordinate with avionics product owners and customers to meet stringent requirements.

The role focuses on LabVIEW-based control, real-time troubleshooting, and integration from sub-assemblies to final payload readiness for launch in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in a technical field such as aerospace, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
• 3+ years in test equipment hardware/software design.
• 3+ years of assembly, integration and test experience.
• Experience with automated test equipment and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated test equipment hardware and software for the Blue Ring spacecraft and its payloads
• Own fielded test equipment
• Review and apply real-time test anomaly troubleshooting and resolution during validation/testing
• Support design and production to ensure system designs meet requirements
• Design and develop automated Test equipment software using LabVIEW
