Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle is seeking an experienced aerospace/mechanical engineer to design spacecraft structural systems and mechanisms. You will participate in the full design cycle, create 3D models and drawings, and support testing and supplier coordination.

The role requires strong GD&T, 3D CAD skills, and the ability to work in a small, agile team with frequent priority shifts. Domestic US work eligibility is required, with relocation options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years designing complex engineered products.
• Strong mechanical design and 3D CAD capabilities.
• Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design flight hardware from concept to qualification.
• Create 3D models, drawings, and interface documents.
• Develop specs and manage suppliers.
• Support manufacturing and assembly.
• Contribute to fast-paced R&D hardware projects.
