Job summary

Blue Origin in Washington state is seeking an experienced structural engineer to design, analyze, and test primary and secondary structures for crew and cargo vehicles. You will build 3D models, prepare drawings, and collaborate with manufacturing to ensure successful flight hardware integration.

The role emphasizes hands-on sizing, analyses from concept through launch, inclusion, and safety. A BS in engineering and strong CAD/FEA skills are required, with US citizenship or eligible status

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Strong CAD/FEA skills with 3D modeling experience.
• Experience with aerospace structures and design-for-manufacture.

Responsibilities

• Design, analysis, development, and testing of primary and secondary structures for aerospace hardware.
• Build 3D models, detail part drawings, assemblies, and interfaces.
• Provide guidance for integration and liaison engineering support.
• Plan and conduct tests; review data and ensure safety and cost targets.
