Moog Inc in Arvada, CO seeks an Electrical Systems Engineering Manager to lead the Avionics, Power and Wiring Team within the Spacecraft Enterprise. You will manage engineers across design, integration, production and test of spacecraft buses and subsystems.

The role requires a BS in electrical engineering, 10+ years in space avionics, strong leadership and customer interfacing skills, and ability to drive programs from concept to flight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Space or Aeronautics Electrical Systems / Avionics, Power and Wiring.
• Strong depth in avionics power and wiring subsystems integration, design, and testing.
• Experience with electrical subsystem test and integration.
• Experience interfacing with customer representatives and leadership.
• Ability to manage resources and schedules for cost and performance.
• Access to US Export Controlled Information.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers for avionics, power, and wiring subsystems.
• Deployed engineers and assign objectives; support proposals for new programs.
• Provide performance feedback and career management for subordinate engineers.
• Define staff skill mix to support current and future spacecraft programs.
• Interface with customer representatives and senior leadership.
• Establish training and mentoring programs for engineers.
