Job summary

Moog is seeking a Senior Spacecraft Avionics, Power and Wiring (APW) Engineer in Arvada, CO. You will lead the APW subsystem across design, integration, and delivery, interfacing with systems engineering, flight software, and other disciplines.

The role emphasizes system-level APW architecture, power budgeting, and collaboration with suppliers in a 9/80 hybrid work schedule, reporting to the Space Vehicles team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years aerospace electrical engineering experience.
• Experience defining avionics, power, and harness architectures.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, I/O, and wiring drawings.
• Experience power budgeting, battery and solar sizing.
• Experience leading technical reviews and supplier oversight.
• Strong written and verbal communication; travel occasional.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system‑level APW architectures and interfaces.
• Define grounding, bonding, shielding, and harness routing requirements.
• Coordinate APW interfaces with other spacecraft disciplines.
• Develop APW requirements, baselines, verification plans.
• Support manufacturing, integration, testing and delivery of APW.
• Present technical content for trade studies and reviews.
