Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA is seeking a Production Technician for Starlink to assemble, integrate, and test satellite components. You will build electrical sub-assemblies, PCB assemblies, and battery/solar modules, using soldering and wiring skills in a fast-paced aerospace setting.

Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalency required.
  • 1+ years hands-on work experience desired.
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Experience reading and following layout drawings and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Build electrical sub-assemblies and mechanical/electrical integration of satellite components.
  • Assemble PCB assemblies into product chassis.
  • Build battery cell modules, solar modules, and solar arrays.
  • Perform wire harnessing, soldering, and desoldering of through-hole and SMT components.
  • Support conformal coating, masking, epoxy application, and related processes.
  • Conduct functional testing of built hardware, including setup, instrumentation, execution, and teardown.
  • Operate complex automated equipment and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Assist in developing prototype test capabilities for spacecraft components and life tests.
