Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a highly skilled engineer to develop and analyze wireless-communication algorithms for the TeraWave platform. You will work across modem PHY/MAC, DSP, RF, ASIC, and software teams to build high-performance, power-efficient systems from algorithm development to pre/post-silicon validation.

The role requires 3+ years in wireless systems, strong DSP fundamentals, and hands-on experience with MATLAB/Python/C++/SystemC.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in wireless communication systems, modem development, or related engineering.
• Strong understanding of digital communications and signal-processing fundamentals.
• Experience with OFDM, QPSK/QAM, synchronization, channel estimation, equalization, FEC, and link adaptation.
• Experience using MATLAB, Python, C/C++, SystemC or similar tools.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and model wireless communication algorithms for custom silicon.
• Create system models to evaluate performance and tradeoffs.
• Analyze RF impairments and design synchronization and estimation algorithms.
• Translate requirements into FPGA/ASIC specifications.
• Collaborate with ASIC, RFIC, FPGA, software and systems teams.
