Job summary

Loft Orbital is seeking a Technical Recruiter to scale our software and product engineering teams. You will own the full recruiting lifecycle—from sourcing to offer—support for satellite platforms and mission operations, and partner with hiring managers to attract exceptional engineers.

Must have 3+ years in technical recruiting, strong sourcing skills, and familiarity with engineering tech like Python, APIs, Git, Docker, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience focusing on software/product engineering.
• Proficient sourcing with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and creative passive candidate engagement.
• Experience recruiting across frontend, backend, cloud, and embedded software environments.
• Strong understanding of software concepts and technologies (Python, APIs, Git, Docker, CI/CD, Linux).

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting—from sourcing to offer for software positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to identify and attract top engineering talent.
• Conduct phone screens and assess technical alignment; manage candidate communications through the interview lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate candidate pipelines using ATS tools (Lever preferred).
