Job summary

Loft Orbital Solutions is seeking a Technical Recruiter with a strong hardware and product engineering focus to scale our satellite engineering teams. You will own the full-cycle process—from sourcing to offer—for highly specialized hardware roles critical to design, integration, and operation of our satellite systems.

You will partner with hiring managers across mechanical, electrical, embedded, RF, systems, and hardware test to build pipelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience for hardware/engineering roles in fast-paced environments.
• Proactive sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and engaging passive candidates.
• Experience recruiting hardware and product engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, embedded, RF, systems, hardware test).
• Strong understanding of hardware concepts (CAD, GD&T, PCB design, signal integrity, power electronics).
• Ability to translate technical requirements into sourcing strategies (embedded C/C++, RTOS, microcontrollers, FPGA, RF, EMI/EMC).
• Familiarity with hardware verification/validation, hardware test methodologies, and environmental testing.
• Experience recruiting in aerospace/space/defense or related complex hardware industries.
• Proven ability to build pipelines for specialized hardware roles in competitive markets.
• Ability to pitch Loft’s mission and culture to passive candidates.
• Phone screens, assess technical alignment, and manage candidate comms through interviews.
• Proficiency with ATS tools (Lever preferred).
• Collaborative with hiring managers and internal recruiting team; provide market insights.

Responsibilities

• Own the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing to offer.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and attract talent across hardware and product engineering.
• Conduct phone screens and assess technical alignment.
• Maintain accurate pipelines and hiring metrics in the ATS.
• Manage candidate communications throughout the interview lifecycle.
• Provide market insights and recommendations to improve hiring outcomes.
