Job summary

The Boeing Company in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Software Test & Verification Engineer to design, develop, and integrate software models for hardware emulation in the Rocky program. The role focuses on SIL & HWIL integration labs to create a comprehensive all-software test environment.

Responsibilities include developing verification plans, testing procedures, and collaborating with hardware teams to ensure schedule milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• 3+ years designing, developing, and implementing software test environments including hardware, software, and network configuration.
• Experience in hardware/software integration, emulation, or testing, preferably in a lab environment.
• Foundational computer science knowledge and OO design/software patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and integrate software models to emulate hardware/components for a full software test environment.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to review requirements/specifications for emulation.
• Develop, automate, and test emulation strategies and technologies.
• Develop verification plans, test procedures and environments; document results.
• Identify, debug, and resolve issues to ensure reliability and efficiency of software products.
• Advise on software domains related to emulation technologies and update policies/processes.
