Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Software Test & Verification Engineer to support the Space Mission Systems Rapid Space Capabilities Rocky program in Albuquerque, NM or El Segundo, CA. You will design and develop software/hardware-in-the-loop emulation environments and build a full software-based test environment to accelerate development and reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 3+ years designing, developing, and implementing software test environments including hardware, software, and network config to replicate production environments.
• Experience in hardware/software integration, emulation, and/or testing, preferably in a lab environment.
• Foundational CS knowledge and object-oriented design and software patterns.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, and integrates software models to emulate hardware components or systems for an all-software test and integration environment.
• Partners with hardware engineers to identify and review requirements for the hardware being emulated.
• Develops, automates, tests, integrates, and administers emulation strategies and technologies.
• Develops verification plans, test procedures and environments; executes procedures and documents results.
• Identifies, debugs, and resolves issues to ensure reliability and efficiency of software products.
• Advises on software domains related to emulation; creates/updates policies for emulation and resource management.
• Implements current technologies, tools, frameworks and changes in regulations relevant to hardware emulation.
