Job summary

Strativ Group is seeking a Systems Test Engineer in Albuquerque to develop and automate verification of aircraft flight subsystems. You will validate subsystem behavior across flight envelopes using robust automated tests.

Responsibilities include designing verification strategies, building test scripts and frameworks, and executing integration tests in lab, HIL/SIL and vehicle environments. Collaborate with Systems Engineering to ensure traceability and test coverage.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years in automated testing of aircraft subsystems.
• Experience designing automated test frameworks or scripts.
• Experience requirements-based verification and validation.
• Experience with hardware/software integration testing.
• Strong scripting with Python or MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test solutions for aircraft flight subsystems.
• Design verification and validation approaches against system requirements.
• Understand subsystem behavior during all flight phases and test use cases.
• Develop automated test scripts, frameworks and tooling for repeatability.
• Plan and execute subsystem integration testing in lab, HIL/SIL and vehicle environments.
• Analyze test data to assess performance, identify anomalies and support root cause investigations.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering to develop verification strategies.
• Produce test plans, procedures, reports and traceability documentation.
• Support ground and flight test campaigns through preparation, execution and post-test analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement of automated test processes and methodologies.
