Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking an experienced Software Test & Verification Engineer to support the Rocky program. The role focuses on designing and building a full all-software test and integration environment to emulate hardware components and systems in a lab setting.

Work involves collaborating with hardware teams, developing verification plans, and implementing emulation strategies across software and hardware domains to ensure schedule adherence and system reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• 3+ years designing, developing, and implementing software test environments including hardware, software, and network config to replicate production.
• Experience in hardware/software integration, emulation and testing, preferably in a lab environment.
• Foundational CS knowledge and object-oriented design and software patterns.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, and integrates software models to emulate hardware components or systems for all-software test environment.
• Partners with hardware engineers to review requirements and specs for emulation.
• Develops, automates, tests, integrates, and administers emulation strategies and technologies.
• Develops verification plans, test procedures, and environments; executes tests and documents results.
• Identifies, debugs, and resolves issues for reliability and efficiency of software products.
• Advices on software domains related to emulation; updates policies and processes for emulation and resource management.
• Implements current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks and changes in regulations relevant to hardware emulation.
