Job summary

Vast is seeking a Structures Test Technician at our Mojave site to support the Haven-1 test stands and space station hull testing. You will work under the Structures Test Engineer to service hydraulic and GN2 systems and ensure safety and readiness of test stands for structural testing.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in testing or maintenance, with experience reading drawings and P&IDs, and hands-on skills in hydraulics, welding, or pipefitting. OT and outdoor exposure are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 5+ years in testing, manufacturing, or maintenance roles.
• Experience with hydraulic or high‑pressure gas systems, welding or fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, upgrade and operate Haven-1 Structural Test Stand at Mojave site.
• Install hull into test stand for static structural testing.
• Service and maintain hydraulic actuators and GN2 systems.
• Support tests, prep, run, and teardown activities.
• Keep accurate test stand records and safety compliant.
