Job summary

Vast in Long Beach, California, is seeking a Test Specialist reporting to the Supervisor, Structures Test. You will assist in development, qualification and acceptance testing for Haven-1 components and structure, with a hands-on approach and strong attention to detail.

The role requires 3+ years in a testing field with electrical experience and a HS diploma, plus the ability to lift 25 lbs, travel to Mojave, and work overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• Has prior experience in a specific testing field and electrical experience combined (3+years).
• HS Diploma or equivalency certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering with tests and campaigns, with instrumentation and DAQ support.
• Set up and operate tests with guidance; develop robust procedures.
• Lead small team of test technicians to complete tasks.
• Troubleshoot DAQ and test setups; document results and feedback.
• Travel to Mojave Air & Space Port with short notice as needed.
