Job summary
Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Reliability Engineer Level 2 in the Eastern Region to join the team in Dulles, VA. You will work with design and systems teams to ensure reliability across programs, using MIL-HDBK-217F, FMEA, and stress analyses to support program milestones.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s in a STEM field with related experience.
- Ability to read electrical schematics/drawings and assess reliability.
- Familiarity with MIL-HDBK-217F and related standards.
- Experience with FMEA/FMECA processes and reliability analysis.
- Ability to use industry tools for reliability assessments.
Responsibilities
- Work with design and systems teams to meet reliability requirements.
- Perform failure-rate projections using MIL-HDBK-217F and BOM data.
- Review FMEA and reliability analyses from vendors and internal teams.
- Guide technical discussions on reliability impact and risk mitigation.
- Support program milestones (SRR, PDR, CDR) as a Reliability Engineer.
