Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Reliability Engineer/Principal Reliability Engineer in Rolling Meadows, IL, to lead R&M performance requirements and support avionics mission-system development. This on-site role collaborates within a multi-disciplinary team and involves owning reliability deliverables from concept through integration.

Qualifications include a STEM degree with experience, MS Office proficiency, and U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a Government Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline with 2 years of experience OR Master of Science with 0 years of experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must have experience in a Systems Engineering discipline.
• US Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance. Clearance not required to start.

Responsibilities

• Perform FRACAS processes including documenting failure modes, trending and reporting data.
• Perform Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations with hardware and systems engineering.
• Perform reliability predictions in accordance with industry standards.
• Perform reliability and maintainability analyses such as FMECA and MTTR.
