Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector in Redondo Beach, CA is seeking a Reliability Systems Engineer – Level 2 to join our team. You will lead reliability analyses, participate in design tradeoffs, and support failure investigations for complex space systems.

We require a STEM degree with 2+ years of related experience or a Master's degree, plus experience with FMEA and reliability modeling. Active security clearances and site-specific responsibilities may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM + 2+ years engineering experience or Master's degree in STEM.
• Experience with reliability engineering tasks (reliability predictions, failure rate estimation, FMEA).
• Familiarity with electrical schematics/drawings and ability to create reliability block diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability support to design teams through reliability tradeoffs and FMEA facilitation.
• Create reliability block diagrams reflecting functions and failure modes.
• Develop technical solutions to reliability and availability issues with the engineering team.
• Utilize reliability analysis tools and industry practices for modeling and assessments.
