Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a motivated Space Vehicle Integration, and Test Engineer to support assembly and test of satellites in Palm Bay, FL. You'll work with cross-functional teams to optimize DFMA/DFMT, analyze telemetry, and ensure SV functionality throughout test cycles.

The role demands a Bachelor’s degree, 4+ years of related experience, and an active Secret clearance. Prior MGSE/EGSE and IPC standards knowledge are advantageous. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience; graduate degree with 2+ years acceptable.
• Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Support assembly, integration, and test for satellite units per customer requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on DFMA/DFMT and process improvements.
• Develop and maintain Satellite System integration and test plans and coordinate resources.
• Analyze drawings and bill of materials to generate clear shop-floor assembly docs.
• Assist with RCCA activities to improve quality and reliability.
