Job summary

Rocket Lab USA is seeking a Test Engineering Intern for the Space Systems team in Long Beach, CA. You will work under a mentor to apply your engineering knowledge, support software that tests space hardware, and participate in a tight-knit team solving real challenges in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires enrollment in a relevant degree with at least one semester remaining, a GPA of 3.0+, and 3+ months of applied engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in one of the listed disciplines with at least one semester remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab or personal/project work).

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a mentor and the department to apply knowledge and grow skills.
• Collaborate with a fast-paced group to apply engineering concepts to real challenges.
• Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors and supervisors to track progress and success.
