Job summary

Rocket Lab in Chantilly, Virginia, is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern to support subsystem development testing and verification under a mentor. You’ll work with a fast-paced team to apply engineering concepts to real challenges and attend regular one-on-one reviews to foster your growth.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a engineering, physics, or math program with a 3.0+ GPA, and have at least 3 months of applied engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD program in engineering, physics, or math with at least one semester remaining.
• GPA 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a mentor and teammates to apply knowledge and grow skills.
• Support subsystem/system development testing and verification.
• Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors to facilitate success and learning.
• Participate in tech talks and intern events.
