Job summary

Rocket Lab Corporation in Pasadena, California, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. You will assist with hardware bring-up, lab testing, prototype assembly, embedded firmware validation, data collection and analysis, and troubleshooting of motor control systems.

This role offers mentorship, hands-on project work, and exposure to a fast-paced space hardware environment. The ideal candidate is enrolled in an engineering degree program with at least one semester remaining,

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in engineering or related discipline with at least one semester remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab or projects)

Responsibilities

• Assist with hardware bring-up, lab testing, prototype assembly, and embedded firmware validation.
• Support data collection and analysis; troubleshoot motor control systems.
• Work with mentors and cross-functional teams to deliver results.
