Amentum Space Exploration Division (ASED) is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Space Launch System (SLS) SPIE integration, interfacing with NASA and contractor teams to manage requirements, verification, and payload integration. You will coordinate with ISPE design teams and customers across reviews, meetings, and product development activities.

Qualifications

• Ability to function in a self-directed dynamic work environment and lead the systems engineering effort.
• Experience in requirements development, allocation, verification plans and matrices.
• Experience with aerospace/space systems development, integration and verification.
• Familiarity with verification policies and using tools to manage verification data.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering and interface integration support for ISPE design and integration.
• Lead or support interface design definition, requirements development, and verification planning.
• Coordinate with MSFC, SPIE, SLS teams and payload customers in reviews and meetings.
• Assess proposed interface changes and their impact on payload integration.
• Prepare for console staffing during Vehicle Processing, Launch Countdown and Flight phases.
• Generate interface requirements docs to ensure complete payload integration.
• Identify risks with interface requirements and document in NASA risk systems.
• Manage analyses, trade studies, and decision packages for payloads.
• Leverage SE&I experience to develop cross-program products and inputs.
