Job summary

Amentum Space Exploration Division (ASED) seeks a senior Systems Engineer to lead integration for the Space Launch System interfaces with the Exploration Ground Systems program and others. You will own Interface Control Documents, work with digital engineering tools, and participate in reviews, TIMs, and program milestones.

The role requires 13+ years in systems engineering and strong cross‑disciplinary collaboration across propulsion, structures, avionics, and software.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering and integration.
• Experience across organizational boundaries and engineering disciplines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Working knowledge of digital engineering tools (MBSE related).

Responsibilities

• Provide system functional design and integration support for the SLS program.
• Control the integrated system architecture through appropriate documents and deliverables.
• Perform technical integration across NASA Centers and diverse disciplines.
• Develop digital engineering tools to manage baseline, traces, and verification tracking.
• Lead strategic plans and resolve open requirements to ensure closure.
• Provide leadership for development of key system engineering products for milestones.
