Job summary

Qualis LLC seeks a Systems Engineer to support SLS SPIE Element projects, integrating Communication and Navigation for ICPS and adapters. The role interfaces with NASA and contractor teams to develop architecture, requirements, and verification plans, ensuring safe, effective Artemis mission support.

The engineer will perform interface risk assessments, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and contribute to cross-program products using SE&I experience. Some travel to NASA centers is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related field; ABET-accredited preferred.
• US Citizenship and STAR ID required.
• Experience in systems engineering, requirements, verification, and integration.
• MBSE familiarity and ability to lead engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering and interface integration support for ISPE design and integration.
• Lead or support interface design definition, requirements development, and verification planning.
• Coordinate with NASA, SPIE, and SLS teams; participate in reviews and meetings.
• Assess interface document changes and their impacts; communicate risks.
• Prepare staffing for Vehicle Processing and Flight phases; coordinate interface requirements.
