Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Azusa, CA seeks Systems Engineer – Level 2/3 to define product vision, manage backlog, and deliver mission-focused software in an Agile setting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize tasks and refine the roadmap for Ground Segment Functions within space systems.

The role requires MBSE experience, space domain know-how, and strong communication skills, with opportunities to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment on ground satellite software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (2+ years engineering) or Master’s degree in STEM.
• Active SCI clearance at application/start or ability to obtain SCI clearance.
• Experience with MBSE and Cameo modeling tools.
• Experience with space-vehicle, command-and-control, or mission data processing.
• Strong written and oral communication; Agile program experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive features for satellite ground systems and read MBSE models.
• Translate customer needs into digital artifacts for software implementation.
• Support verification planning, test requirements, and key products.
• Work across disciplines covering requirements, interfaces, architecture, and design.
• Engage in sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews to align with product vision.
