Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, CA is seeking an early career Systems Analyst to join our Integrated Cost and Schedule Analysis (iCASA) team. You’ll analyze cost and schedule data to support government and industry estimates and participate in life cycle cost analyses.

You’ll work 100% onsite, collaborate with mentors and internal customers, and develop data-driven insights while building skills in IMS, SRAs, and risk assessment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics or related discipline (pursuing or conferred within last 12 months).
  • 0–1 year of industry experience; prior internship at The Aerospace Corporation.
  • Knowledge of space and ground systems, systems engineering.
  • Proficiency in using MS Excel (formulas, data analysis functions) and basic cost/schedule tools.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze cost and technical data to assess credibility of government and industry cost and schedule estimates.
  • Conduct research and analysis of schedule and technical data and develop schedule assessments for government procurement.
  • Participate in Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis and evaluation of contractor cost activities.
  • Utilize industry tools to develop/evaluate Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and conduct Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs).
  • Document analysis and present data/findings to peers, management, and customers.
