Job summary
The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, CA seeks an Engineering Economics & Cost Analytics Lead to guide cost engineering initiatives across space programs. You will lead LCCEs, ICEs, IGCEs, affordability and risk analyses, and support acquisition and business-case studies.
This is a full-time role with hybrid work options and collaboration across multiple disciplines. Candidates should have extensive cost/economic analysis experience, leadership ability, and a DoD/space domain background, with
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, economics, or related field.
- 12+ years of cost engineering and economic analysis experience.
- Experience leading technical teams on cost, schedule, and risk analyses.
- Experience with space program cost models and DoD environments.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and hold DoD clearance.
Responsibilities
- Lead cost engineering analyses and economic assessments.
- Develop and evaluate business cases, pricing strategies, and proposals.
- Mentor staff and collaborate across EEMS with other sections.
- Support business development and customer engagements.
- Represent cost engineering through thought leadership.
