Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking an entry-level Program Cost Scheduling & Control Analyst I in Colorado to monitor contract costs and schedules, prepare budgets, and support variance analyses to help keep programs within negotiated parameters. You will contribute to funding profiles, reports, and contractual changes, ensuring accurate baselines and timely insights for management.

A Bachelor's degree and up to 2 years of experience are typical for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Typical entry-level 0 - 2 years of experience.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports and projections.
• Experience with management consulting, data analytics, finance, or other quantitative roles in business, program, or operations management.
• Strong business analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Participate in control of costs and schedules for contracts requiring a validated cost schedule control system.
• Perform analyses and prepare reports to ensure contracts stay within negotiated parameters and government guidelines.
• Contribute to budgets and schedules for all contract work and assist in funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
• Ensure adequate funding by maintaining accurate records of expenditures and directing contractual changes into control systems.
• Monitor outstanding work against each contract to maintain realistic baselines and support contract execution.
