Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Space Systems Engineer to support the integration and development of next-generation space vehicles and missions. You will lead MBSE-driven analysis, perform complex trade studies, and ensure architecture alignments with mission objectives.

You will present review materials to senior leaders and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to resolve cross-segment issues and converge on practical solutions. On-site collaboration at multiple US locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• U.S. Citizenship and U.S. Person status required.
• BS degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or CS.

Responsibilities

• Support technology integration and development of first-of-kind space vehicles and missions.
• Develop and present review packages to internal and external senior leadership.
• Lead complex system trade studies to closure.
• Ensure system architecture supports mission objectives.
• Lead functional analysis and decomposition for mission activities.
• Coordinate with diverse stakeholders to resolve cross-segment issues.
