Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Colorado is seeking a Systems Engineer to develop MBSE artifacts, derive interfaces, and support requirements across CONOPs and design reviews. You will work with software, avionics, and mechanical teams to ensure traceability and parameter verification in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

The role requires experience with trade studies and risk assessments, a TS clearance with SCI eligibility, and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MBSE (SysML and DODAF) and able to derive interfaces.
• Experience in systems engineering, requirements development, verifications, and validations.
• Experience performing trade studies and supporting risk and opportunity processes.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines (software, avionics, mechanical, RF, electrical).
• Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI; US Citizenship required.
• Proficiency in Cameo and familiarity with system development testing.
• Familiarity with Environment Standards and Acceptance/Qualification Standards.
• Experience applying AI prompting to engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop MBSE products to include views and artifacts in support of CONOPs development, requirements gap analysis, traceability, and interface definition
• Derive requirements and interfaces in support of requirements spec development
• Support assessments of key performance parameters, technical performance measures, and requirement compliance
• Support and generate products for formal system design reviews
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines across a small, compartmentalized, and dynamic set of programs
