Job summary

Boeing ESG seeks a Lead ConOps & Architecture Engineer to drive the development of operational concepts for space missions from Seal Beach, CA. You will coordinate across internal/external stakeholders and lead architecture efforts for first-of-kind vehicles, leveraging MBSE and cross-domain expertise.

The role entails onsite work, acting as a core customer contact, and guiding multi-disciplinary teams to resolve complex trade studies and design challenges while advancing mission objectives.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• BS in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• 5+ years in systems engineering, systems integration, or software engineering.
• 3+ years leading or managing cross-functional teams within engineering/test.
• 3+ years with Satellite Systems Engineering groups.

Responsibilities

• Support development of first-of-kind space vehicles and missions.
• Develop and present review packages to internal/external senior leadership.
• Lead complex system trade studies to closure.
• Ensure proper system architecture to support mission objectives.
• Coordinate with diverse stakeholders to resolve cross-segment issues.
• Utilize MBSE to capture system architecture and operational concept.
