Job summary

Momentus is seeking a Systems Architect Engineer to support solution conceptualization and development for our next generation of advanced spacecraft. The ideal candidate should be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working on high-level design, planning, and definition of complex systems.

In this role you will analyze system trade-offs, develop MBSE models, define roadmaps and requirements, and provide technical leadership for spacecraft concepts.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in aerospace or closely related discipline.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze technical trade-offs of system and subsystem-level solutions and explore solution alternatives.
• Develop and maintain system models within a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) framework
• Participate in defining solution roadmaps and requirements
• Provide technical leadership for spacecraft conceptual design
• Work closely with product managers, solution architects, and other engineers to validate customer, market, and technical assumptions
