Job summary

Amentum seeks an experienced Subcontract Administrator to join our team supporting NASA pursuits. The role involves awarding and documenting subcontracts, developing procurement strategies, and leading source selection processes across complex programs.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and extensive federal procurement experience, including familiarity with the FAR, Maximo, and MS Office. Strong leadership and mentoring skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Typically 10 years of experience.
• Knowledge of FAR and government contracting processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Maximo preferred.

Responsibilities

• Award and document requirements for purchases and subcontracts per FAR and company procedures.
• Develop subcontract models for firm fixed price, T&M, cost-type arrangements.
• Evaluate proposals and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Prepare and lead source selection teams; monitor supplier performance.
• Support internal audit activities related to procurement.
