Job summary

Vast, headquartered in Long Beach, California, is seeking a Manufacturing Planner, Integration to drive production scheduling and materials planning for its space systems.

Reporting to the Director of Production, you will coordinate with procurement, engineering, and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery while optimizing inventory and capacity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years experience in manufacturing planning, scheduling, or operations management
• Experience with ERP and MES systems is preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules, demand forecasts, resource availability, and capacity analysis
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain to ensure materials availability
• Analyze internal and external capacity and identify bottlenecks or constraints
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods
• Implement strategies to minimize excess inventory while ensuring production continuity
• Communicate deadlines for manufacturing with engineering and leadership
• Coordinate with engineering and QA to ensure specifications and standards
• Monitor progress and take corrective actions to maintain on-time delivery
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on plans and resolve issues
